A double King’s award-winning science company is set to open the grounds of its historic retreat for an afternoon of live music and entertainment in Derbyshire.
Surescreen Scientifics will be opening up its grounds for the Morley Show which will see visitors gather for food, live music, and a flower, vegetable and produce show among the entertainment.
The event, which was previously called the Morley Gala, is hosted by the PTA at Morley Primary School and will open up in the grounds of Morley Retreat, in Church Lane, and the walled garden.
SureScreen founder Jim Campbell OBE said: “We are delighted to once again host the Morley Show here at Surescreen Scientifics and I’m looking forward to welcoming everyone to our beautiful grounds.
“If it comes anywhere near the success of last year‘s event, it will be a great show with live music, good food and plenty to see and do.
“Please show your support for the Morley Show and our wonderful primary school.”
The Morley Show will be held from noon to 6pm on Saturday, September 16. It will also include a fully licenced bar, craft workshops, giant inflatables and an auction of the show produce, followed by a raffle.
Refreshments will also be on offer.
