West Midlands vodka brand Jatt Life has strengthened its presence in the Midlands hospitality industry by launching a tableside cocktail mixing service at one of Birmingham’s newest restaurants.
The Kingswinford firm has debuted the service as part of a new supply partnership with Qavali, a high-end Indo-Persian restaurant in Brindleyplace, Broad Street.
The restaurant caused a stir when it opened its doors last year, offering diners a range of beautifully presented dishes and drinks inspired by regions of the Indo-Persian empire including including Turkey, India, Iran and Afghanistan and all served in a visually stunning venue, adorned with artwork, poetry and sumptuous fittings.

West Midlands vodka brand Jatt Life has strengthened its presence in the Midlands hospitality industry by launching a tableside cocktail mixing service at Birmingham’s new “all immersive” restaurant Qavali.
Last month it launched its Abundance event, where diners paying £50 a head are given a choice of an a-la-carte menu with unlimited drinks, including the Persian-inspired Princess Orange cocktail, a vodka-based drink prepared at the table by the Jatt Life Artisan Cocktail Co.
The collaboration with Qavali is the next step in a rapid expansion project for Jatt Life, which was launched at the start of the lockdown – when the UK’s bars and restaurants were closed – and is making up for lost time now that their doors are open again.
The company was founded by husband-and-wife entrepreneurs Baz and Sunny Kooner, who now employ 12 people and supply four different varieties of their five–times distilled luxury vodka, alongside an award-winning Irish whiskey and pink gin called Jatti Gin.
Baz said: “Being invited to debut our tableside mixing service at Qavali in the heart of Birmingham is an incredible endorsement for Jatt Life.
“The attention to detail at Qavali is astonishing and each one of its cocktails has a story associated with it in order to enhance the dining experience, so it’s a perfect place for us to launch our tableside mixing concept to add to the sense of occasion.
“We had to wait a long time to be to supply Jatt Life direct to bars and restaurants but now lockdown is over we’re finding there is a lot of interest in our vodkas, especially in the heart of Birmingham.”

Jatt Life founders Sunny and Baz Kooner are making up for lost time by signing up a host of Birmingham venues after launching their exciting vodka brand a week before lockdown – which closed bars and restaurants all across the UK.
The Qavali brand is inspired by Sufi culture – a mystical school of thought – and “qawwali’ – a devotional form of music, commonly practised by followers of Sufism.
Sahar Rezazadeh, head of branding at Qavali, said: “Being able to serve unlimited cocktails is an important part of the Abundance concept, while our priority is always to ensure that guests are served with the best quality available.
“We have always worked to support local brands and after meeting Baz and Sunny we trialled Jatt Life with guests here, as well as other restaurants. When they gave it their seal of approval, we decided to feature it on Qavali’s menu as well.”
Last year Jatt Life became official supplier to all four of Birmingham nightclub owner Wayne Tracey’s city centre venues, Snobs nightclub in Smallbrook Queensway, Sobar in the Arcadian Centre, Theatrix and Henman & Cooper, both in Colmore Row.
