A personalised motorbike which used to belong to UK grime star Bugzy Malone has been put up as a “once-in-a-lifetime” prize on a popular UK online competition site – with tickets expected to sell fast.
The custom 2016 Suzuki RMZ250 – whose prominent graphics include the name B Malone – will be ridden off by one lucky winner after it was posted as the latest prize on competition website www.giveawaylife.co.uk
Bugzy Malone, who recently release his latest single, MEN III, has previously posted a number of photographs of himself on the bike to his 1.2m followers on Instagram.
However, staff at giveawaylife.com do not know why or when the star decided to sell it, or whether his decision was connected to a road accident he was involved in during March, when his quad-bike was involved in a crash in Bury, Greater Manchester.
Bugzy Malone, who hails from Manchester and whose real name is Aaron Davis, was injured in the incident but has made a full recovery – and mentions the accident in M.E.N III.

Giveawaylife.co.uk, which was set up by childhood friends Jake Daffern and Callum Swan, from Derby, is aimed at lovers of extreme sport, especially motocross. It runs between two and four online competitions each week, with each person paying between £1 and £30 for a ticket and answering a simple question to enter.
The price of tickets vary according to the value of the prize and the number of people who are expected to enter, and tickets for the Suzuki – which is worth £3,500 – are priced at £11.95.
They went on sale on August 10 and, with the draw set to take part on August 29, Jake said that interest in the bike has been sky-high.
He added: “Even without its history as having belonged to its one careful celebrity owner, this is an awesome bike for anyone to ride, let alone win, so this is a real once-in-a-lifetime chance for someone.
“We’re always on the look-out for prizes that are a little bit different and this is an amazing bike for us to offer to our followers. We don’t know when or why he decided to sell it, but we do know from the excellent condition it’s in that he’s clearly looked after it.
“Like everybody, we’re relieved that he has made a full recovery from his injuries and that he’s back to making music again. His story is a timely reminder of the fact that while motorbiking is excellent fun, accidents can happen.”
Jake and Callum set up giveawaylife.co.uk in April, at the height of the lockdown. So far they have given away prizes worth a combined £30,000, ranging from motorcycling goggles right up to a brand new £5,000 bike, as well as non-biking items including inflatable spas and other must-have gadgets.
