A motorbike stunt team that has five world records under its belt has been announced as the headline act at this year’s Derbyshire County Show.
Stuntworld International will be performing death-defying acts such as motorbike jumps, fire runs, high falls and quad bike stunts at the show at Elvaston Showground, on June 25th.
They will perform two thirty-minute displays that include ramp jumps, wheelies, stoppies, quad stunts, rollovers and a host of other record-breaking acts that need to be seen to be believed.
The group, which has performed all over Europe and the Middle East will perform two 30-minute sets at the event which is designed to offer something for every member of the family.

Among the team is Stewart Shaw who holds the world record for jumping 150ft over 160 people and Janine Stannage who is one of the only females in the UK to perform the human torch stunt.
Owner Mark Stannage said: “Our show has audiences sitting on the edge of their seats – there’s nothing like that collective gasp when a stunt works perfectly.
“All our riders have years of training and it’s taken genuine dedication and commitment to get to this level of perfection.
“We take our show all over the world, but there’s nothing like playing to a UK crowd. We’re looking forward to being in Derbyshire.”
Also appearing at this year’s show – and new for this year – is Parkour Action, an incredible display team that demonstrates strength, precision and co-ordination as they flip and leap across any obstacles in their path.
There will also be displays from Madness Trampoline Wall Show – a group of the athletes that bounce between a trampoline and a wall. And, after each performance, the team will deliver a workshop for spectators to get involved and try trampolining for themselves.
The family-friendly event, which is put together by the Derbyshire Agricultural and Horticultural Society, has all the usual attractions including livestock displays, heavy horses, vintage cars and tractors, show jumping, light horses, craft stalls and floral displays.
Children are admitted free of charge and as well as fairground rides and ice cream there are plenty of opportunities to learn about animals and the countryside.
Edward Hicklin, chairman of the Derbyshire Agricultural and Horticultural Society, said: “The show was originally created as a way for farmers to showcase their wares and while we try to keep the show as a reflection of all that the countryside has to offer, we recognise that some of our visitors will be city dwellers and so we endeavour to ensure there is something for everyone.
“We think that with Stuntworld International, Parkour Action and the Madness Trampoline Wall Show we have the perfect blend of entertainment for our visitors young and old.”
Tickets purchased in advance cost £13 for adults while entrance for accompanied under 16s is free of charge. Tickets are available online by visiting www.derbyshirecountyshow.org.uk Car parking at the event will be free.
