UK premium vodka brand Jatt Life is working with one of New York’s most talked-about restaurants to create the hottest new cocktail for summer 2026 – the noor chai martini.
The cocktail, which was launched at a glittering event last week, is the result of a collaboration between Jatt Life and the restaurant Passerine, which serves high-end Indian cuisine from its premises in East 20th Street in the Flatiron District.
Passerine, which was opened by Maneesh K Goyal and Alvina Patel Buxani in 2024, is famous across New York for its pre-meal cocktail menu, which features a range of drinks incorporating Indian spices such as coriander, saffron and green cardamom.

This month, it extended its range by introducing the noor chai martini, which leans into the current trend for spiced cocktails by combining Jatt Life’s vanilla-infused five-times distilled French grain vodka with homemade Indian chai tea and Massenez crème de gingembre.
The cocktail launch coincides with the start of a year-long house pour deal between Jatt Life and Passerine, following the vodka’s arrival in the United States as part of its global push in 2026.
Earlier this year it signed a distribution deal in New York and New Jersey, which has seen its distinctive black bottles appear on shelves of more than 80 independent liquor stores across the two states.
Jatt Life, which is bottled at 40% ABV, is also being stocked by warehouse retailers Sam’s Club’s store in Edison, New Jersey, and Baz Kooner, who founded the brand six years ago with his wife, Sunny, said being appointed the house pour at Passerine and featuring in its latest cocktails was another huge step in establishing the vodka stateside.
He said: “I could not be more proud of what we have achieved by entering into this partnership with Passerine, and it shows that Jatt Life is starting to make serious waves in America.
“Our team attended the launch at Passerine restaurant and it was a fantastic night. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to launch our first on-trade partnership with and the reaction from everyone in the room to our vodka and the cocktail was incredible.
“Sunny and I said at the very start of this journey that we wanted to create a premium product that would create excitement and make some noise in the vodka market and we’re doing that.
“Chai martinis are hugely popular at the moment, and to have Jatt Life chosen as the house pour at a restaurant which has made its name for serving the finest Indian spiced cocktails in New York is a dream come true.”
The noor chai martini also features chai produced by the Kolkata Chai Co., which claims to be the first dedicated chai café in America and operates in New York’s East Village and Nolita districts.
Maneesh K. Goyal, owner of Passerine, said: “Our Indian-inspired, modern cocktails have helped us to put Passerine on the map in New York, because of the care, imagination and quality ingredients that go into them.
“Authenticity is at the heart of what we do and this collaboration with Jatt Life couldn’t be more perfect for us.
“It’s a smooth, premium pour that lends itself so well to different recipes and from the reaction of our customers at last week’s launch we couldn’t have made a better choice of house vodka.”
Jatt Life is also expanding rapidly across California’s Central Valley and in Las Vegas, while it has also launched its products in Canada and India this year, taking the number of countries it exports to up to 18.
