Leading design and build specialist DSP (Interiors) has given Elevator Equipment’s new headquarters a real lift, delivering a 12-week turnkey fit-out designed to take the business to the next level.
The project has transformed a 30,000 sq. ft industrial unit at Gorse Hill Industrial Estate into a modern, fully integrated office and production facility for the Leicester-based company.
With the business continuing to grow, the firm required a new facility capable of bringing together production, storage, customer-facing functions and high-quality office accommodation under one roof.
What was once a vacant unit has now been elevated into a future-proofed headquarters, tailored to Elevator Equipment’s operational needs and long-term ambitions.
The completed facility includes a storage mezzanine, a ground-floor production area, office accommodation and a dedicated trade counter, creating a smooth flow between operational and customer-facing functions.
A full height fire-rated compartment wall with steel encasement was installed to enclose the newly constructed first-floor office block. This space houses a boardroom, open-plan breakout area and modern welfare facilities, providing a high-quality working environment that encourages collaboration while allowing room for future expansion.
Acting as both principal designer and principle contractor, DSP (Interiors) Ltd managed all elements of the project including building control, mechanical and electrical works, and bespoke interior finishes ensuring the project met regulatory requirements while maintaining programme and quality standards.
