A Midlands-based public relations firm is pleased to announce the appointment of Olivia Hancock as PR Account Manager, strengthening the team with marketing and brand expertise and supporting its continued diversification.
Olivia brings marketing and communications experience to Penguin PR, having spent the past ten years working in marketing roles within the independent education sector.
With an English degree from Loughborough University, she joins from one of the country’s leading independent schools, Repton School, where she most recently held the position of Brand Manager.
In her previous role, Olivia was responsible for PR and advertising activity, alongside the design and production of a wide range of printed and digital collateral.
A confident writer and experienced project manager, she now brings her skills to Penguin PR, where she will support clients through story generation, content creation and strategic PR delivery, whilst contributing to the agency’s own internal marketing and PR initiatives.
Olivia said: “I’m really looking forward to exploring a new industry and developing my writing further, while bringing creative ideas and strategic thinking to Penguin PR’s clients. It’s an exciting next step and I’m delighted to be joining an experienced and supportive team.”
Outside of work, Olivia has two young children who keep her busy, and at weekends she can often be found on the sidelines at Derby Rugby Club, cheering on the team.
