Award-winning ultra-premium vodka Jatt Life has launched its new vanilla bean flavour – just in time to bring a dash of warmth to a host of favourite autumn cocktails.
Described as “a harmonious balance of sweetness and warmth”, the 37.5% ABV vanilla bean vodka brings a fifth flavour to the Jatt Life range, which is distilled in the West Midlands by up-and-coming independent UK drinks firm Virtus Brands.
Its release has coincided with a redesign of Jatt Life’s elegant black bottles, each of which follows a colour scheme to correspond to the flavour of the vodka inside, such as green for its lime zest flavour to purple for its forest fruits variety.
Although it can be enjoyed as it is over ice, vanilla bean is perfect for including in cocktails, including a vanilla martini – combined with dry vermouth, a splash of simple syrup and an twist of lemon – or within perennial favourites the pornstar and espresso martinis.
Luxury independent vodka brand
Jatt Life vodka was launched by husband and wife Baz and Sunny Kooner in 2020, having been created as a luxury independent brand to take on its more established premium vodkas.
They quickly added an orange and pineapple vodka to their range, which is now available across the UK and worldwide. Jatt Life sold 100,000 bottles in its first year alone and this month its entire range went on sale for the first time in the Co-op.
It also gave Baz the platform on which to establish Virtus Brands, which is a collective of 28 new and up-and-coming spirits and wines and is based in Kingswinford, West Midlands.
Baz said: “We’ve been looking to launch a vanilla bean flavour for a long time now and we’re delighted to finally be able to share it with our customers, who told us almost from Day One that they wanted a vanilla variety.
“It has all the hallmarks of a Jatt Life vodka, in that it’s smooth and perfect to drink on its own or in a cocktail.
“It brings a sweetness and warmth to our range and we’re really happy that we can now add the Jatt Life touch to people’s espresso martinis.”
