07/08/2024

Three friends who have created a business with a million-pound turnover in just four years have been named among the UK’s brightest new entrepreneurs after being shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

Art Lindop, Kieran Flynn and Alex Mills run Alphageek Digital which has beaten off competition from across the UK to be shortlisted in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The trio have been shortlisted in the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category and are hoping they will follow in the footsteps of previous winners which include Steven Bartlett, who now appears on Dragon’s Den, and the founders of The LAD Bible, Tangle Teezer and Grenade.

The company, which is based in Friar Gate and employs 20 people, has an annual turnover of £1.2million and 50 clients based in four continents on its books.

Art Lindop said: “The Great British Entrepreneur Awards are incredibly prestigious, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have made the shortlist – it’s testament to the whole Alphageek team.

“To have our hard work recognised is a thrill, especially after only a relatively short time in business, and particularly in a national award that has been given to some truly inspirational business leaders in the past.

“We have reached some brilliant milestones in the last 12 months – not least exceeding a million-pound turnover – and have some fantastic clients across the world. We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved so far and excited to build on this to create one of the best agencies in the UK.”
