Ghosts and ghouls really knew how to party as they enjoyed a devilishly good night at a Derby school.
The Bemrose School invited primary pupils to get dressed up in their scariest outfits for a Halloween party ahead of the half term break. It was split into two parties – one for the younger pupils and a second later in the evening for the older children.
The school was decorated in a Halloween theme with pumpkins and cobwebs as far as the eye could see and the children had glow sticks and could tuck into some ghoulishly good treats.
Claire Zolkiewicz, chair of the school’s PTFA, said: “It is always really well attended and a nice time for the kids to get to socialise with their friends.”
The event is organised by the PTFA, with the money raised going back into the school to cover anything from new equipment to trips.
