THE owner of an award-winning business in Derby has launched an exclusive leadership programme for fellow entrepreneurs in the East Midlands.
Bev Wakefield, owner of Vibrant Accountancy, will lead six like-minded business owners through a 12-month programme where they will focus on all aspects of running a successful company, from budgeting and understanding number to KPIs, cash and forecasting.
Special guests booked to speak to delegates throughout the year include Andy Goram, Rob Tice – managing director of HR & Employment Law specialists Precept – emotional intelligence expert Kul Mahay, Matt Symonds from TBAT and independent consultant Simon Bursell.
“As a business owner, we can often lose track of our direction,” said Bev, “it can be lonely and often feel like we’re not sure what the next steps should even be.

“Lean on Vibrant will aim to give direction, accountability and success to those who participate. They will also receive one-to-one coaching and psychometric testing.
“You can never sit still in business; you need to continually innovate and rethink what you do. I’m excited to be launching the Lean on Vibrant programme to six business leaders across the East Midlands, who will be supported throughout by their peers, an online community and will get to hear from some incredible guest speakers who are helping me deliver the programme.”
Vibrant Accountancy are one of the fastest-growing businesses in the East Midlands. Working with some of the most respected names in the region, including Scenariio, Colleague Box and Penguin PR, they offer annual budgeting, company accounts and tax returns and business planning.
Bev, who has recently been shortlisted for a leadership award, feels that the Lean on Vibrant programme will complement their existing services perfectly.
She said: “The reason I set up Vibrant Accountancy with my then-business partner – now friend and client Ian Ball – was because we wanted to help our clients achieve their version of success, their goals.
“We didn’t want to be compliance led; we wanted to truly form a partnership and work with the numbers to help business owners thrive.
“I want to work with businesses and individuals that may need a little help with numbers and direction. They must be ambitious and brave, too.”
Lean on Vibrant is being offered at a BETA price of £875 plus VAT (usual price £1,500) but spaces are limited. To find out more and to register, visit LOV – Vibrant Accountancy
