Pupils and staff from Swinton Academy got in the Christmas spirit by wearing festive jumpers.
The Rotherham School, part of the ACET Trust, split proceeds from the annual Christmas Jumper Day between Save the Children and the Student Academy Council.
Funds for the student council will be used to improve lunch-time facilities for all students in the academy.
The council have identified equipment, games and activities they would like to purchase, which will benefit all students.
